JinkoSolar and Premier Power Honored with 2011 CCBJ Business Achievement Award Joint Solar Power Installation at Dependable Companies’ Los Angeles Headquarters Wins Award in ‘Project Merit: Solar Power’ Category SHANGHAI, EL DORADO HILLS, Calif., SAN DIEGO, Calif. — March 15 2012 — JinkoSolar, a fast-growing, vertically integrated solar power product manufacturer based in China, and Premier Power, a global leader in the development, design, engineering and construction of solar power systems for commercial, government and utility markets globally, today announced that the two companies have received a Climate Change Business Journal® (CCBJ) award for a joint solar power installation at The Dependable Companies’ Los Angeles headquarters. CCBJ is a business research publication that provides high value strategic business intelligence to the climate change industry. “CCBJ recognized a number of innovative projects that either broke ground or saw their way to completion in 2011 in wind, energy storage, carbon capture & storage and adaptation,” said Grant Ferrier, president of Environmental Business International Inc. JinkoSolar and Premier Power were recognized for an installation at the Los Angeles headquarters of The Dependable Companies – a logistics service company providing trucking, warehousing, freight forwarding and airfreight services. The 1.2 MW system used 5,292 JinkoSolar modules to cover approximately 300,000 square feet of The Dependable Companies’ building, making it the largest solar PV system installed on an industrial high-rise building anywhere in the world. “We are honored to be recognized by CCBJ with this prestigious award,” said Arturo Herrero, Chief Marketing Officer for JinkoSolar. “We were grateful to have the opportunity to work with Dependable, a company with such a long-standing reputation for quality and dependability.” “As the EPC contractor for this installation, we worked closely with both JinkoSolar and Dependable to design and install a system that will help Dependable meet its sustainability goals. We are pleased to see this ground-breaking project recognized with a CCBJ award,” said Miguel De Anguin, President of Premier Power. The 2011 CCBJ awards were presented at a special ceremony at the Environmental Industry Summit X in Coronado, Calif. on March 14-16, 2012.
