JinkoSolar Sponsors Solar Seminars in the United Kingdom SHANGHAI, Dec. 17, 2013 -- JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company") (NYSE:JKS), a global leader in the solar PV industry, today announced that it sponsored the Building Research Establishment’s National Solar Centre (“BRE/NSC”) roadshow seminars which were aimed at Local Council planners in the United Kingdom. BRE/NSC recently published an independent guide that provides best practice advice to Local Council Planning Departments on the planning and development of large scale ground mounted solar PV systems. This guide complements the existing Department for Communities and Local Government’s Planning and Development guide. The series of seminars is a part of a NSC organized roadshow which will offer participants an opportunity to discuss the various factors related to large scale solar PV projects. The guides and seminars are done with the support of Mr. Greg Barker, the Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change, the Department of Energy & Climate Change, and the Department for Communities and Local Government. “JinkoSolar is proud to be a sponsor of the roadshow and we are glad to support the NSC seminars. Educational initiatives like this are important to ensure a knowledge exchange in the field of clean solar energy. Moreover it gives us the opportunity for dialogue with Council planners. Knowing their needs will help us to develop our products and services further.” commented Mr. Frank Niendorf, JinkoSolar’s European Director.
